Children's Single Beds
There's such a wide choice when it comes to choosing a single bed for your child. Do you want one that will last well into their teenage years, when they might want to upgrade to a double or king size? Do you want one for a boy or a girl, or something generic which can be used for younger siblings? Wood frame, divan shape or metal frame? What price should you pay? Cheap metal or wood frame beds start from under £100, whilst you can pay upwards of £500 for something that should last a lifetime - with the exception of the mattress, which usually has a life span of aroung 10 years. If the bed is for your toddler, you can buy rails which slide under the mattress for added safety, but you would opt for one that is lower to the ground, which they can climb into easily.
Star Bright Single Bed

Mid sleepers come in a variety of styles and designs. The most popular is the cabin bed, which has a full size sleeping area on the top, whilst the underneath is jam packed with everything a young person needs in their bedroom. There's usually some type of pull out desk, handy cupboards and very useful shelves, plus a clip on bedside table. There are endless variations to choose from, or, you could leave the space empty for toy storage or as a play area. If a full size mid-sleeper is not for you, then a children's storage bed might be the answer, with drawers tucked away underneath, at the end of the bed or with a full storage system in the head board.

High sleeper beds for kids, at one time, where only used as a last resort when their bedroom wasn't big enough for a conventional bed, separate wardrobe, chests of drawers and storage units - and they were then pretty basic. Today they are generally chosen as they can be very innovative with the allotted space beneath the sleeeping area, or can be turned into play beds for use all day and make better use of the space in the bedroom.
It is also highly recommended that top bunks should only be used by children over 6.
