Roll play is such an important part of growing up and starts at the earliest age. We all love playing the patient to toddler doctors and nurses, who take our temperature and fix our 'poorlies' with such joy. Or wait patiently while our little ones go to the 'shops' for some bread, beans and butter - they absolutely love this type of play. Following on from this is their first 'big' toy - a pretend play kitchen, shop or cafe. Little boys and girls get so much joy from pretending to be grown up and cook our meals, wash our clothes and do the 'big shop' - and, to be honest, we all love it too.
