Water Bottle Spirals

I love these and they’re so easy to make and you can hang them anywhere – make a spiral tree in the garden.

You will need:
dry water bottles
permanent marker pens
scissors

Make sure that the bottles are totally dry, inside and out. When you’ve removed the base and the top of the bottle, you could use a hairdryer – but not too hot or it could melt the plastic.
Once dry let yours and your children’s creative juices flow and get colouring – with stripes, downward and horizontal, stars, circles, bands etc.
Let the ink dry and then start to cut slowly, from the bottom, untill you have your spiral. Gently tugging them to expand slightly – hang and enjoy.

Costway 8ft Play Dome & Slide

I had one similar to  this for many years for my granddaughters – they loved it. Climb on it, climb in it, throw a sheet over it and it’s a den, play target ball games with the frame – brilliant!

This does look complicated, but it is easy to assemble and once assembled it is very strong. Ours lasted for years and remained sturdy throughout.

My granddaughters had hours and hours of fun, and it is so versatile – apart from climbing and dangling from it, they used it as a den and it’s great for ball games as well.

This version includes a small slide for younger kids and is available in blue, green, orange, red and yellow.
