Dream Dozen Toys 2009
The Toy Retailers Association have revealed their Dream Dozen - the top Christmas Toys for 2009. The final 12 have been chosen from 6 different categories - Boys, Girls, Pre School, Creative, Construction and Games.

Lego Games - Minotaurus
Lego Games are a new venture for 2009, from the ever popular building block company. The Minotaurus can be bought direct from Lego and full parental instructions and guide can be found here.
The board game maze is built from Lego and the game, for 2 - 4 players, centres around getting your Knights to the centre without falling foul of the Minotaur. The game can be customized so each time can be different. It's nice to see traditional toys in the Christmas top lista selection of Lego games are also available from The Toy Shop and John Lewis
Monopoly City - John Lewis
This is an age old favourite (but not with me, I've never won a game) with a modern twist. Play in 3D, build actual skyscrapers, houses and stadiums and watch your fortunes grow - includes the usual Monoply money, game cards, houses and hotels - but also features 80 3D buildings - it's time to get ruthless!

Princess Peppa's Palace - VERY
I'ts nice to see everyone's favourite little pink pig (my 20 month old grandaughter loves her) in the Dream Toys Top Selection and this fold away play Palace with accessories is going to be a big hit with toddlers in 2009. This yellow Palace with a purple turretted roof, adorned with flags, has 7 rooms and includes some room sets. For Children aged from 3 years.
